In this month’s edition of the newsletter, we delightful books, author insights, new releases, and upcoming events – all of which, we hope, will be something that you looked forward to. ✨ A SNEAK PEAK OF WHAT’S COMING NEXT! 📖 8th Feb (Saturday) – We are inviting all the Biggies for an inovative storytelling workshop at Eureka on the book Biggies Don’t Play with storyteller Shivani Kanodia and illustrator Pooja Sakhlani. Biggies Don’t Play is a book about celebrating childhood. Seven-year-old Anu declares that since she is now in second grade, she is now a big person or a ‘biggie’. But unexpected events take place throughout the book which makes her realise that being a big person doesn’t mean that they can no longer have fun. Timings: 5 PM to 6 PM.
Timings : 5 PM to 6 PM 📖 22nd Feb (Saturday) Eureka! Books and the Sarvodya Circle have collaborated to introduce you to ‘Inclusive Duniya SEL Huddle’. Join us for a session on Social and Emotional Learning with a twist on 22nd February. The session will be conducted by learning facillator by Aakansha Jain. Timings : 4 PM to 5 PM
Roop and the River Crossing is a picture book on the Partition of India. It focuses on the children’s lives affected by Partition. Through Roop’s journey, the author weaves a story of connections, resilience and finding an anchor in turbulent times. Timings : 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM WORLD BOOK FAIR, 2025 The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 is on till 9th February in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The fair is organized by National Book Trust, India. Here’s a glimpse of what happened in January: Storytelling Session with Vinita Zutshi Written by Rea Malhotra Mukhtyar and illustrated by Shahena Zaveri this is a must-have book for all the curious children out there. Meet and Greet with Mariko Shinju Japanese author-illustrator Mariko Shinju visited Eureka Books on 16th January. It was lovely meeting her. ✨We have a few copies of Mottainai Grandma siged by her. Drop in to collect yours. AUTHOR SPEAK 🗣️ ~ Tune in and listen to Bhakti Mathur talk about her latest release Amma, Take Me to the Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Written by Mathur and illustrated by Priyanka Gupta, the book takes readers on a journey through the majestic forts of Rajasthan.
