Nandan Jha named DK India’s Managing Director

Nandan Jha, who is currently the executive vice-president, sales and product and business development at Penguin Random House India, has been named DK India’s managing director as Aparna Sharma retires in August 2024, after 25 years in the role.

Jha will move to his new role on 1 July, 2024 where he will be managing all aspects of DK’s business in India, working closely with India’s domestic DK team and its wider publishing community. Jha comes to DK with 30 years of experience in the book industry, of which 20 years were spent at Penguin Random House.
