The afternoon at Deepalaya Learning Centre, Bhalaswa took a musical turn as Vasudha and Kunnal joined them for a storytelling session. When about 60 children sing along in unison, it creates a breathtaking atmosphere where stories and art thrive. The duo paired the epic folk tale of the king and the barber with delightful rhythms on guitar. Not only the kids enjoyed, they expressed themselves in self-created songs and poems that transported everyone back to childhood. The session ended with the children translating everything they absorbed from the story onto paper; some creating the king’s kingdom, some the drums and some the trees.
