Read Aloud in Bangla

Roars of laughter echoed out of Eureka! Bookstore on 8th September as our weekly Read-Aloud session progressed. Children along with their parents sat in a large circle around Swati Roy, who read aloud Satyajit Ray’s classic story, “Sujan Harbola”. She was joined by another member from the circle, Vaishali Chakravarty, who narrated a story that is known to have first appeared in the Sandesh magazine.

The kids in the audience listened to the stories with much zest and gave cheerful responses. Eureka! bookstore lit up with a contagious energy that the stories and laughs produced, and oh! what a magnificent sight it was to behold!
