Two visits in eight months? It says something about the book-loving people of Jaipur that Bookaroo is back for its second visit to this beautiful city even before the year has ended.
And as in every edition, the festival has been fortunate to have the support of Jawahar Kala Kendra. Our grateful thanks to Mr Ravi Jain, director general of Jawahar Kala Kendra and Ms Alka Meena, additional director general, who fully believed in India’s oldest literature festival for children.
Spread out before you is a thoughtfully-curated programme, by age, that we hope will make this weekend a memorable one for all the children who have come. Not only does this edition have speakers from seven cities across the country, it also has a very interesting lineup of speakers from seven cities outside the country.
In this fifth edtion of Bookaroo in Jaipur, 27 speakers come together to offer a grand bouquet of nearly 60 sessions for five age groups that will stimulate, entertain and inspire.
