Noted Marathi writer Milind Sudhakar Marathe took charge as chairman of National Book Trust, India (NBT).
According to an official statement from NBT, Marathe took charge on August 21st. Marathe is an educator with more than 30 years of experience in diverse capacities in the field of academia. He is also an author of many academic books and has edited a few collected works as well, in addition to publishing numerous research papers for journals.
He succeeds Govind Prasad Sharma, who served as the Chairman of NBT February 21ST, 2019 to August 15TH, 2023.
